We use your contact details, availability, work background, and application responses to consider you for the Ditch role you select and to contact you about the hiring process.

Who can see it

Applications are stored in the site’s database and can be viewed by authorized Ditch owners and hiring managers. Contact details and responses are not displayed on the public careers site.

Email about your application

We use Resend to send application confirmations, interview invitations, and internal notifications to authorized Ditch owners and hiring managers. Internal notifications include your application details and, when available, your AI interview summary. Your email address and the contents of these messages are processed by Resend. Our hiring team can see sent messages and send status. Replies go to the Ditch hiring contact shown in the email. Applying does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

The hospitality check-in

Some roles include four everyday scenarios and two short written answers. If you prefer to discuss them with a person, select the conversation alternative. There is no timer.

AI interview summaries

When the AI service is connected, completed check-in questions and answers are automatically sent to OpenAI to organize an interview summary for the hiring team. Your name, phone number, email, and availability are not included in that request. Please leave sensitive information and other people’s names out of your written examples.

AI summaries may contain mistakes. They do not score, rank, accept, or reject applicants. Ditch reviews original responses and makes hiring decisions.

Questions, corrections, or an alternative format

Contact tracy@eatatditch.com about your application, a correction, a deletion request, or another way to complete the process. Keep your submission reference handy. Hiring records may need to be retained to meet applicable obligations.
